An Impressive 16th Century Style Carved Oak Full Tester Bed of Generous Proportions. The head board inlaid with marquetry plants and enriched with carving beneath reeded rails. The uprights adorned with caryatids. The moulded cornice having roaring lion masks to the corners above reeded bulbous foot-posts; the turned cup & cover bulbs carved with gadrooning and foliage. The square lower post sections ornamented with spilt spindle appliqués and rising reeds recessed to the stop fluting, united by a five panel foot board, overall height 81 in (206 cm), 77 in (196 cm) wide, 83 in (211 cm) in length.
