A 17th Century Oak Coffer, North European, possibly German, having a triple panel lid and four panelled front. The front panels carved with foliate S-scrolls; the inner two bearing clusters of fruit, the outer two with zoomorphic dragon head terminal. The framework enhanced with incised ornamentation and punch-work, 28¾ in (73 cm) high, 50 in (127 cm) wide, 23½ in (60 cm).
