The Regent Street Polytechnic (now the University of Westminster) was founded by Quintin Hogg in 1881. Hotel Seeburg passed to his grandson, the Hon. William Neil Hogg and then to his two nephews: Douglas Hogg, 3rd Viscount Hailsham and The Hon James Hogg, Wherwell Priory, Hampshire.
