FRENCH SABRE INFANTRY OFFICER, MODEL 1845 blade slightly curved one edge and leaky, having recorded the shoulder "Chatelleraut 1870". Guard on cast brass with plant motifs. Fist horn material. Sheathed in iron. Oxidation, lack of brass filigree on handle.
